This is a wireless serial infrared transceiver module. Built-in MCU, codec procedure, it is easy to implement NEC infrared remote control. NEC can decode a coded infrared signal emitted by a remote control, and then you can send the signal to remotely control your appliances. Very popular for home appliances remote replication and DIY.
